Zamalek board have agreed to let Amr Zaki depart the club on condition that he receives an EGP 30 million offer, the prolific striker revealed on Wednesday.

"I will leave Zamalek if any club afford to meet their price tag," Zaki told FilGoal.com.

However, there are still differences which need to be sorted out between both sides.

"I want to leave in the January transfer window but Zamalek are reluctant to accept my demand. They want to release me in the summer following the season's end."

Deadend relationship

The row between Zaki and Zamalek intensified after the former ENPPI man said that the Cairo giants misled the Egyptian FA by claiming that he was unfit to join the national team for the Pan Arab Games

"Zamalek sent the Egyptian FA an incorrect medical report that claims that I will be out for ten days, while in fact my injury needs only four days of rest," Zaki told FilGoal.com exclusively on Wednesday.

The national team technical staff decided to overlook Zaki for the tournament that will kick off on Sunday based on Zamalek’s report.

The prolific striker, who had suffered the injury ahead of Zamalek’s 1-1 draw against Harras Al-Hodoud, was unhappy with the action taken by his club.

"I don’t understand that why Zamalek’s officials are out to get me," said the former ENPPI player.

"They sent this falsified report to the national team coach even before he announces his squad because they don’t want me to take part in the tournament."

The 24-year-old ace, who joined Zamalek in 2006 after a failed spell with Lokomotiv Moscow, has already been involved in several squabbles at the Cairo club, which has caused him to have a bumpy relationship with his coaches.

"It came to my knowledge that a member of the coaching staff asked the team doctors to write a report saying that I was not injured at all ahead of the Hodoud game on Tuesday.

"They wanted to make it seem like I was skipping training and dodging games, but the team doctor refused," added Zaki.

Zaki feels that Zamalek officials are deliberately trying to make life hard for him at the club.

"I’m the only player in the football team who didn’t receive an installment from his contract this year. I seriously don’t understand why I am being treated in this insulting fashion.

"But I’m not going to let this slide. I will take what is rightfully mine," said the outraged Zaki.
