Ittihad forward Mohamed Nagi 'Geddo' revealed he will be ready to participate in his side's Egyptian League match against holders Ahli despite suffering a hairline fracture in his leg.

"I'm confident I'll recover in time to take part in the important fixture. The injury is not as bad as reported," Geddo told FilGoal.com on Monday.

"Doctors told me that I just have to wear medical football boots in order to play normally."

Ittihad, who are struggling in the Egyptian League table, host Cairo giants Ahli on the 29th of November.

Meanwhile, Ittihad midfielder Mahmoud Sobhi insisted he will leave the Alexandria-based club in the January transfer window.

"Life became impossible here. I'm seriously considering an offer from Arab Contractors," he said.

Sobhi joined Ittihad from Ghazl Mahalla in the close season after failing to secure a move to Zamalek.
