Spanish daily newspaper Marca confirmed in their Tuesday’s edition that Ramos is seeking reinforcement and that he had always appreciated the Brazilian forward’s talent.

The 26-year old striker showed an impressive performance when playing under Ramos’ helm at Sevilla three years ago.

But since then he failed to reproduce his form and was given few minutes to play by Bernd Schuster.

Although it isn’t likely that the German tactician would let him go in January as he had previously announced that he needs all his players to help him in the Primera Liga and UEFA Champions League tasks.
