Abdul-Aziz has been recalled by Hassan Shehata to the preliminary Egypt roster ahead of the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana.

"Playing for Egypt is an honor, I am very pleased with the recall and I hope I can represent my country in Ghana," he told FilGoal.com.

"I play regularly for Trabzon, I am fully fit and I will be ready if the coach decided to include me in his final squad."
