رونالدو

Ronaldo made his long-awaited comeback in AC Milan's 2-1 victory over Cagliari but could miss out on featuring in the Rossoneri's crucial Serie A clash against Juventus on Saturday.

The Brazilian striker was expected to take part in Milan's Champions League game against Benfica but he suffered a calf pain during the warm-up and was ruled out of the match.

According to Calcio Italia magazine, Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti insisted Ronaldo does not suffer a recurrence of the thigh injury that sidelined him for three months.

However, club doctor Jean-Pierre Meersseman is set to carry out series of tests to make sure the former Real Madrid man doesn't complain from the same problem.

Seedorf Doubtful

Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf is also doubtful for the anticipating game after aggravating an ankle injury against Benfica.

"It was going well for the first 15 minutes and then I twisted the ankle a bit when I landed in a divot and it didn’t feel so good," he said.

"But I played 75 minutes and now I have three days to recover and get myself ready for Saturday evening."

Milan, who had a stuttering start in the Serie A, will be looking to grab their first victory at home when they host Juventus at San Siro.
