Ismaili stunned by Masri

Ismaili failed to move up in the table as they conceded a shock defeat on Monday against Masri 2-1 in day of the Egyptian League.

Ghanaian midfielder Akwetey Mensah opened the scoring in the 69th minute after dribbling past sweeper Hani Saied and firing the ball into the net from close range.

Hosni Abd-Rabou leveled the score 15 minutes later from a well-placed free kick. But not for long as Ibrahim Helal hit the winner three minutes later to grab the full points of the game.

Ismaili remain fifth in the standing with 19 points just two points behind fourth place, Zamalek.

Suez Cement came back from behind to beat Baladeya 2-1. Ibrahim Baarour 70th minute strike cancelled Saied Kamal's opener, 14, before Mohamed Al-Saghuir could score the winner (80).

Suez Cement moved one place up from the bottom of the table with 9 points, 2 ahead of Ittihad of Alexandria who are at the last place.
