"I have always said that Spanish football is different," Zambrotta was quoted as saying by Europa Press.

"I played for 9 year in Italy and it is nothing like Spanish football."

Reports said Milan target signing Zambrotta in January but the World Cup winner said he is staying with the Catalans.

"I know from the papers that Milan is following me and I am flattered," he said.

"But at the moment I am happy at Barcelona and I want to give them my experience."
