Barcelona chairman Joan Laporta refuted talks linking Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho with a move outside Camp Nou.

The out-of-form wizard had a poor start to the season, which cost him his 'key player' role in the star-studded Barca attack line and suggested a possible exit in January.

However, Laporta stressed that the Catalans received no offers for Ronnie and that the club has no intentions of selling him as well.

"We are not going to sell Ronaldinho. We are not in contact with Chelsea, Milan or any other team," said the Barca president after the 2-1 win over Deportivo Lacoruna on Sunday.

"We are counting on Ronaldinho and you could see tonight that he fought like all the rest of the players."

Ronaldinho scored his first goal in a month, equalizing from the spot, during Barca's Primera Liga victory at Camp Nou.

Last week Spanish reports linked the under-fire superstar with a move to Chelsea, but the player's agent and brother Roberto De Assis also denied the claims.
