Al-Siliya, where plays Egyptian defender Wael Gomaa, shared the points with giants Al-Sadd after holding them to a 3-3 draw in day 14 of the Qatar Premier League.
Luis Felipe, Hassan Al-Haydus and Ali Afifi scored for Al-Sadd while Will Robinson hit a brace and Emad Nasser scored an own goal for Al-Siliya to earn them a dramatic late draw.
Wael Gomaa was among the starting lineup and helped his teammates avoid their third straight defeat after losing to Qatar FC 6-1 and Al-Gharafa 3-0 in the past couple of games.
Al-Siliya are now seventh of the table with 17 points while Al-Sadd are second with 29.
