Inter Milan have stretched their lead on top of the Serie A table to 7 points after beating Cagliari 2-0, on Sunday.

The Italian Champions have 40 points while second-placed Roma, 33, were more than happy to snatch a point from Torino, 0-0, in a game bossed from start to finish by the hosts.

Julio Cruz, 57, and David Suazo, 79, had to do the job for the Nerazzurri in the absence of the Serie A top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic who was banned from this game.

Manager Roberto Mancini had also to do without injured Patrick Vieira, Dejan Stankovic, Olivier Dacourt, Luis Jimenez and Luis Figo.

We had to wait until the 57th minute when Cruz's shot found the top corner of the net to score his ninth goal of the season.

Suazo doubled the lead 11th minute before time to secure the full points of the game.
