Zamalek’s assistant coach Ayman Mansour kicked out Ahmed Ghanem from Friday’s training session after being involved in a dispute with his teammate Beshir Al-Tabei.
Both players collided during training and Mansour had to intervene to contain the situation.
Meanwhile, forward Gamal Hamza resumed training after been ruled out of the 1-0 defeat to Petrojet with a groin injury.
Skipper Hazem Emam and Tamer Abdul-Hamid are through the rehabilitation phase in order to get them ready for the Egyptian Cup matches.
Mansour is leading the sessions as manager Ruud Krol hasn’t been back from his Christmas vacation yet.
The Whites will face the winners of Al-Nasr and Ismailia Electricity game on January 4.
