But Marcello Bonetto, the full-back's agent, said his client has no intension to leave the Catalans.

"Gianluca will stay at Barcelona at least until June and then we will see," he told Sky Sports.

"He has a contract until 2010 and I have not been told anything by Barcelona about any contacts."

Bonetto also denied any official offers from the Premiership duo.

"I don't know anything of this interest. I have absolutely no news on interest from either club."
