AC Milan player are focusing on finishing among the top four of the Serie A in order to secure a Champions League spot next season.

“We have to address the fact that we haven’t won at San Siro. So far it has been a disappointing season in the League, but we have time to make amends,” Gennaro Gattuso told Football Italia on Friday.

“We have an important objective – to finish fourth. It’s unthinkable for Milan to finish outside the Champions League spots.”

AC Milan had an awful start of the season as they are 12th of the Serie A table and are 25 points behind leaders Inter Milan.

Captain Paolo Maldini asked from his team-mates to focus on their Champions League campaign and to finish among the top four.

The Rossoneri will face Arsenal in round 16 of the Champions League.
