A statement on the club's website said Frings would feature in the upcoming warm-up games ahead of the Bundelsiga games.

"I resumed full practice and I didn't feel any pain. I think that my injury fears have gone," Frings was quoted saying on the club's website.

The 31-year old midfielder featured in three games only for Werder Bremen and two for the Mannschaft.
