Barakat was assured that he doesn't need another knee surgery and that he can be back into action soon.

According to Ahli's website, Barakat started individual training on Saturday and he could join his teammates within a week.

Barakat, 32, was dropped from Egypt's squad for the African Cup of Nations due to a persisting knee pain.
