“Fiorentina have shown an interest in the player. But Sergio has come to an agreement with Monaco and we are just waiting to make that official. We hope to have everything in place by the end of the week,” Almiron’s agent Claudio Vagheggi told Football Italia.

The 27-year old midfielder moved to Torino last summer with Tiago Mendes but they failed to make any impact with the Old Lady.

Almiron will sign a loan contract with Monaco and it will include an option to make the move permanent.

Elsewhere Juve boss Claudio Ranieri is trying to clinch Mohamed Sissoko's deal before the transfer window closes on January 31.
