Palermo chairman Maurizio Zamparini rejected the idea of selling Brazilian striker Amauri to AC Milan, stressing that 'they are the last team he would sell him to'.

Milan are likely to be in search for a striker after Ronaldo's long-term blow, but the Palermo chairman has no intention of selling his star striker to the Rossoneri in particular.

"The player will probably leave this summer, but if I could choose then Milan would be the last team I would give him away to," said Zamparini.

"However, they haven’t even enquired about him."

It was speculated that the European champions are interested in Chelsea Ivorian ace Didier Drogba, while Amauri's future remains unclear.
