Mido's dream of playing his first FA Cup final demolished as Middlesbrough had a shock exit after losing to Championship side Cardiff 2-0 on Sunday.
Peter Whittingham put Cardiff ahead after only 9 minutes before Roger Johnson doubled the lead in the 23rd minute to fire his side into the last four.
Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam "Mido" started the game on the bench and came in as a substitute in the beginning of the second half but couldn't help his teammates breakthrough Cardiff's solid defense.
Mohamed Shawky, who played with Boro B team on Friday, wasn't included in the squad for this game.
Sunday's result means that Mido won't be able to achieve his dream of playing the FA Cup final in Wembley.
None of the Premier League big guns will be in the last four of the FA Cup as Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea were ousted out of the competition.
