Meteb demanded to go on loan, but Saturn ruled out the option, preferring to lure the Egypt striker permanently.

"Meteb asked for a season-long loan in order to cope with the tough conditions in Russia, but Saturn rejected," agent Nader Shawki told FilGoal.com.

"He will stay with Ahli for now, even though Saturn are still interested and talks may resume in June."

The 25-year-old striker was valued for €3M by the Russian outfit and Ahli seemed to have accepted the offer.
