Amr Zaki scored one goal and created the other to guide Zamalek to the Egyptian Cup final after beating Harras Al-Hodoud 2-1 on Tuesday.

Zaki put Zamalek ahead in the 12th minute and delivered the cross for Amr Al-Safti, 46, helping the team reach its third straight Cup final.

Amr Al-Dali scored Harras Al-Hodoud's goal in the 31st minute.

The Whites started the game going forward for an early goal. They hadn't to wait too much as Zaki controlled the ball well, went past Harras Al-Hodoud defender Hani Saied and struck the opener.

Three minutes later he went close to doubling the lead but his volley went over the bar.

The visitors got back in the game and were able to threaten Zamalek's goal until the 31st minute when they earned a well-deserved penalty following Mahmoud Fathallah's tackle on Mohamed Meki.

Amr Al-Dali made no mistake from the spot to level the score.

Harras Al-Hodoud's striker Ahmed Abdul-Ghani saw his shot bouncing back from the woodwork in the 40th minute.

Just a minute after the break Zaki delivered a cross to Al-Safti who restored Zamalek's advantage from close range.

Al-Hodoud had nothing to lose and went forward leaving some spaces in their defense allowing Zamalek's players to threaten them on counters.

Mohamed Aboul-Ella went clear on target but the keeper hadn't to make much effort to deny his effort and keep the one-goal difference.

In the 71st minute Ahmed Eid Abdul-Malek had a golden opportunity to level the score but his header went inches wide of the post.

Zamalek will face the winner from ENPPI and Arab Contractors, who are set to play on Wednesday, in the final game.
