Argentina coach Alfio Basile believes that his side's confrontation with African champions Egypt could be useful in many ways for the South American titans.

The former Argentina international is aware of his opposition's strength as he sets sights on the positive outcomes of the friendly encounter.

"We are hoping to gain experience by facing a team like Egypt, we know they are African champions for two years now," he told a press conference.

"Regardless of the nature of the game, Egypt are a strong team that play attractive football, so we are looking forward to face a team with that style."

The Argentina roster did not include the names of Juan Roman Riquelme, Hernan Crespo and the injured Lionel Messi, but Basile sees that as no concern.

"We are never worried about the absence of key players, we usually have enough alternatives," he said.

Basile recalled Bordeaux hitman Fernando Cavenaghi, who is expected to deputize for Inter Milan's Crespo upfront.

The Tango will play their next competitive game in June, when they host Ecuador in a 2010 World Cup qualifier.
