Deived scored Fenerbahce's winner

Brazilian forward Deivid went from zero to hero to help Fenerbahce claim a precious 2-1 home victory over Chelsea in the first-leg of the Champions League quarter final.

The 28-year-old initially helped Chelsea score the opener when he diverted Florent Malouda's cross from the left flank into his own net after 13 minutes.

Chelsea completely dominated the first-half and were unlucky not to go further ahead when Michael Essien's cracking shot was denied by the bar.

English-born striker Colin Kazim-Richards, who came off the bench in the second half, leveled the score five minutes past the hour mark.

He latched onto Mehmet Aurelio's long pass to beat the offside trap and smash home past Italian keeper Carlo Cudicini.

Deivid became an unlikely hero when he scored the Turkish side's winner nine minutes from time.

His unstoppable 30-yard strike left hapless keeper Cudicini with no chance as Fenerbahce will go to Stamford Bridge next week with a valuable lead.
