Dutch side Feyenoord are interested in having back Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly at the club, English paper Daily Mirror reported on Thursday.

Ghaly faces an uncertain future following Derby County's relegation to the English Championship after a dismal run of results.

Derby coach Paul Jewell praised the 26-year-old for his fine displays this term, indicating that he just needs more consistency.

He recently expressed his desire to sign Ghaly on a permanent basis as he joined The Rams on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in January.

However, it seems now that his wish may not be granted.

According to Daily Mirror, Feyenoord, whom Ghaly left in 2006, are looking to add the talented midfielder to their ranks in the summer.

The former Ahli man is yet to reveal what he intends to do after the season's end.
