Bayern Munich captain Oliver Kahn aimed a swipe at former Germany manager Jurgen Klinsmann, who will be in charge of the Bundesliga leaders next summer.

Kahn believes that Klinsmann's presence in Bayern matches at the mean time is unnecessary, especially with the treble on the cards.

"I consider it a lack of style because you just don't do that," Kahn told Munchner Abendzeitung in the wake of the recent 1-1 UEFA Cup draw with Getafe.

"We are on track to win a treble and this kind of behavior diverts attention.

"I have never heard of a coach who is coming on board the following season being present at matches in the current season."

Klinsmann was responsible for seeing Kahn get down the pecking order as Germany's number one keeper since the 2006 World Cup, favoring Arsenal's Lehmann.
