Lindse insisted the 31-year-old hitman is going nowhere.

"During the last few days I have had friends calling me to ask if Van Nistelrooy is going to Milan. I don't know where all this has come from," Lindse told Marca.

"He has just renewed his contract and he is happy at Real Madrid. The truth is there is nothing."
