The Cameroonian striker appeared in a kids show and it appeared he was threatening to quit the Catalan giants after a poor season.
"All this fuss has surprised me. I want to make it clear that I have never threatened to leave Barcelona. This all lies," Eto'o said.
"I have always been honest and I will continue to be. If I do ever leave Barça I would not play for any other Spanish team except for Mallorca. I could never play for Real Madrid."
The 26-year old striker was a former Real Madrid player but the Merengues seemed never convinced by his talent and he made a huge impact with Real Mallorca before joining Barcelona in 2005 leading them to a Champions League title in 2006.
"Next year I will be with Barcelona. I hope to be able to start next season at my best and hope that I will not have any injuries like the last two seasons. The injuries have certainly impeded me," concluded the Barca number 9.
Eto'o missed the start of the season with a knee injury that kept him on the sidelines for four months.
