No Zamalek move for Fadl

Ismaili striker Mohamed Fadl revealed on Friday that he rebuffed approaches from Cairo duo Ahli and Zamalek.

"One of Ahli officials contacted me and expressed his side's interest to sign me next season," Fadl told FilGoal.com.

"Zamalek also made an offer but I want to fulfill my contract with Ismaili."

Fadl's deal with the Dervishes, whose hopes to finish second in the Egyptian League faded, runs out in the summer of 2009.

"I'm flattered by Ahli and Zamalek interest but I want to repay Ismaili's faith in my abilities because they helped me rediscover my form."

Fadl, who had an unsuccessful spell with Ahli, joined Ismaili from Port Said-based club Masri in 2006.

The 28-year-old scored seven goals in the Egyptian League so far. He was part of Egypt's African Cup of Nations winning squad, but was used as a substitute.
