AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has set the record straight that he will remain with the Rossoneri until the end of his career.

Gattuso has been subject to speculation suggesting he is moving away from San Siro, with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid ready to lure him.

Adding to the saga, the arrival of defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini from Arsenal increased the chances of his exit.

However, the 2006 World Cup winner had talks with Milan officials on Monday, and the meeting seemed to bear its fruits.

"We are friends like we were before and I will stay here for another three years. I will finish my career here," Gattuso told reporters.

Gattuso has a contract with Milan until 2011, and the 30-year-old is tipped to succeed Paolo Maldini as the Milanista skipper.
