Lierse's Egyptian wing-back Omar Yassine claimed that Zamalek are interested in luring him to Cairo in the close season.

"A Zamalek official informed me that his club want to sign me," Yassine told FilGoal.com on Saturday.

"I'm considering their approach but I wish to continue my European adventure.

"Anyway, I will sit down with Zamalek officials to find out the full details of their expected offer before making my final decision."

Yassine, who came through Ahli's youth ranks, joined second-division side Lierse last January on a five-year deal.

He was followed by compatriots Ahmed Samir and Mohamed Abdul-Wahed, but the Egyptians couldn't help Lierse seal promotion to the top flight.

Lierse chairman Maged Samy has recently said that his side would hold onto the Egyptian trio.

Zamalek, who ended their title drought by winning the Egyptian Cup at ENPPI's expense, want to strengthen their squad with several additions.

They have completed the signing of three players so far – Arab Contractors duo Alaa Kamal and Mahmoud Samir as well as ES Setif's Ivorian midfielder Geoffrey Serey Die.
