Zamalek failed to appoint Zaccheroni as new coach
Italian tactician Alberto Zaccheroni will earn €1 million per season to coach Zamalek, club’s director Alaa Meqled said.
The former AC Milan and Inter Milan manager was officially unveiled and is due to arrive on Saturday to finalize the deal and start his mission.
"President Mamdouh Abbas will finance the deal whether he stays or leaves the club after this summer’s elections," Meqled told FilGoal.com.
The 55-year old manager, who won the Serie A title with the Rossoneri in 1999, will succeed Ruud Krol who decided to quit Zamalek for family reasons.
