Don is set to complete a four-year spell with the Azzurri as he was appointed in 2006 succeeding Marcelo Lippi who won the World Cup.

However, a clause was inserted in his contract allowing both the Italian Federation and Donadoni to end their relationship within 10 days from the end of EURO 2008.

There have been speculations surrounding Don’s future as Lippi and Carlo Ancelotti have been linked with job.

Italy are battling with France, Netherlands and Romania in group C of EURO 2008.
