Turkey coach Fatih Terim implied that reserve goalkeeper Tolga Zengin could be used as an outfield player against Germany in the EURO 2008 semi-finals.

The Turkish squad is haunted by a series of injuries and suspensions, which will see them missing no less than nine players.

"He could come on towards the end as a sub as last man in defense or a centre forward," the Turkey coach said.

"We can't allow ourselves the luxury of players choosing where they want to play."

Volkan Demirel, Sanli Tuncay, Emre Asik and Arda Turan are all banned, whilst a handful of players are out injured, including the influential Nihat Kahveci.

However, the relentless Terim remains upbeat over his side's chances of causing another upset against the three-time EURO champions.

"We have shown several times already that we can achieve the impossible. I have faith in my team and in our ability to reach the final," he added.

Turkey registered dramatic wins in their last three games, scoring in the dying seconds against Switzerland, Czech Republic and Croatia.
