Al-Eqtisadiah said that former President Mansour Al-Balawi is in the middle of advanced talks with the Hamburg player.

According to the report Al-Balawi is in Cairo now and the deal should be sealed in the next few days.

Zidan, 25, played a handful of games for Hamburg last season and failed to live up to the expectations.

He has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side after his fall out with coach Huub Stevens.
