Zamalek have reached an agreement with Cameroon midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba and the deal should be sealed in the next few days, FilGoal.com has learnt.
The former Manchester United man is a free agent now as his contract with Qatar FC expired last June.
His agent held talks with Zamalek officials over the past couple of days and the 27-year old should sign a contract in the next 48 hours.
Djemba-Djemba had a rising start to his career as he made a dream move to Manchester United in 2003 coming from Nantes.
However, he failed to impress at Old Trafford and moved to Aston Villa, before being loaned to Burnley last season.
After a few appearances with the Championship side, Djemba-Djemba move to Qatar late in 2007, and he has now ran out of contract.
