AC Milan president Adriano Galliani insisted that Clarence Seedorf will stay with the club next season.
The Dutch midfielder recently said he was not ready to accept being switched to the left flank following Ronaldinho's arrival at San Siro.
His preference was to play as a playmaker, the former Real Madrid man insisted.
He was linked with a move to the Premiership after voicing his admiration for the elite competition.
However, Galliani, who also rebuffed reports linking Brazilian playmaker Kaka with a move to Chelsea, stressed that Seedorf will not depart.
"Kaka is going nowhere and neither is Clarence Seedorf. The fans can sleep easy," he was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia.
