"I'm 25-year old and I won't sit on the bench again. After three years at Feyenoord, it's time for me to have regular football would it be here or elsewhere," the former Ahli keeper told FilGoal.com.

"I talked to the bosses. They understand my will but they are waiting for a good offer so they could sign a replacement," added Ekrami.

The 25-year old goalie rubbished all the recent reports claiming that Feyenoord are willing to offload him saying that if they wanted so they would have signed another keeper.

"Things aren't over yet and I'm still battling for a starting role but if it doesn't happen I will leave and my agent is working on that," concluded Ekrami.
