Brazil needed two extra-time goals to overcome 10-man Cameroon 2-0 and reach the men's semi-finals on Saturday.

Despite Albert Baning's sending off only six minutes after the break, the Lions did not seem to be struggling against the South American giants.

However, Rafael Sobis hit on the counter in the 100th minute, before Marcelo finished off a superb team move to conclude the victory four minutes later.

Italy were surprisingly eliminated by Belgium, who came back from a goal down to beat the Azzurri 3-2 in a thrilling game.

Later on Saturday, African duo Nigeria and Ivory Coast clash, while Lionel Messi's Argentina face Holland.
