Zamalek chairman Mamdouh Abbas revealed that the Cairo club's new satellite channel will be launched in six months.
"The bid to launch our own satellite channel is in progress. Our fans deserve a source of media which represents the club," Abbas said in an interview with Zamalek's official site.
Zamalek's announcement comes two weeks after Ahli launched their independent satellite channel, the first ever for an Egyptian club.
However, Ahli's quest to broadcast home games exclusively resulted in recent controversy, which mounted when the Reds' league opener with Olympic was not broadcasted on TV.
