Kaka struggling with knee injury
AC Milan will kick off their 2008-2009 Serie A campaign without star man Kaka, who is still struggling with a troublesome knee.
"Professor Martens confirmed that the player's knee is inflammated, and advised him to continue for 15 days with the therapeutic protocol he is following," a Milan statement read.
It means that the 2007 World Player of the Year will not be able to catch the Rossoneri's league opener with Bologna on August 31st.
Kaka aggravated his knee injury during Milan's pre-season tournament in Moscow this summer, when they lost 1-0 to Sevilla.
