The 25-year-old torn his ankle ligaments while playing for France against Italy at Euro 2008 in June, and is expected to feature in Bayern's games by the end of September.

Ribery has made a brilliant impact since joining Bayern from Marseille in 2007, scoring eleven times for the Bavarians and winning the Bundesliga best player award in the process.
