The White Knights, who finished the season unbeaten, capped a perfect campaign by overcoming Ahli at Cairo stadium.

"The fans' support was pivotal in helping us to the Super Cup triumph," Zamalek coach Mohamed Safwat told the club's official website.

"It is a perfect start to our season. We aim to win the Egyptian League as well as retaining our domestic cup crown."

The league campaign will kick off on the tenth of September.
