Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Ince has quashed rumors about him leaving the club to take over the vacant Newcastle United post.
The former MK Dons coach vowed to stay at Blackburn after joining the club this summer following Mark Hughes' departure to Manchester City.
"Of course I'm flattered to be linked with other jobs, but I owe it to Blackburn, the players and the supporters to say that I am very happy at Ewood Park," Ince told Rover.co.uk on Friday.
"I am only a few weeks into the role and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience. My only focus is Rovers and getting on with the job."
Newcastle have been without a manager since Kevin Keegan quit the club on September 4th after disagreements with the club board over this summer's transfer signings.
