Flavio and Barakat are among Jose's favorite players

Ahli will be hoping to kick-start their winning ways in the league when they play at home against current leaders Petrojet on Thursday night.

The champions are thirteenth in the table, after only managing one win and four points out of three games.

However Petrojet are enjoying a much better start to their season after collecting eleven points from fiver games.

The game will witness the return of Ahli new signings Hani El-Egeizi, Hussien Yasser and Ramzi Saleh who are all out of Ahli's African squad list.

Winger Mohamed Barakat will also be fit to start for the Red Devils after recovering from injury and Ahmed Hassan will be back after being rested during the ASEC Mimosas game in the CAF Champions League.

While Mohamed Samir, Anis Boujelbene and Sayed Moawad are all injured, Ahli coach Manuel Jose decided to exclude Osama Hosni, Hussein Ali, Ahmed Farag and Ahmed Abdul-Monem for technical reasons.

On the other hand, Mokhtar Mokhtar's Petrojet will have a full team ready to face the league holders apart from suspended Ahmed Shaaban.

It is worth noting that Ahli have failed to score in their last two league games when they lost to Masri and drew with Arab Contractors.

Petrojet's previous encounter was a thrilling 2-2 against Masri.
