Aboul-Hassan will replace former committee chief Mohamed Salah Abu-Greisha as the latter is set to take over as the club's new football director.

"The new committee will be responsible for following as well as supporting the first team's development," Abou-Greisha told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.

"Osama Khalil, Ali Gheit, Khaled Bayoumi and I will all be members of the new committee headed by Aboul-Hassan."

Abou-Greisha stressed that the committee will have a counseling role rather than imposing any decision or policies on the team's new Brazilian coach Ricardo.

The committee's first task will be estimating Ricardo's first team report, which will include players the Brazilian wants to oust as well as January's transfer targets.
