"Juve have become used to the best and even though that isn't happening now, they bring out the best in difficult times," Cannavaro was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia.
“Rest assured, at Real we won't be underestimating the Old Lady in any way.”
The former Juventus man also spoke about earlier reports linking him with a sensational return to boyhood club Napoli in January.
"I have always said that I would like to return home to Naples, I know that chairmen Aurelio De Laurentiis and Pierpaolo Marino have respect for me."
Despite his initial consent to re-join Napoli, Cannavaro insisted that he will take his time before taking the final decision.
"I haven't spoken to the Real Madrid directors yet but we will make a decision together. I'm in no hurry and there is no pressure." concluded the World Cup winner.
