Enyimba striker Stephen Worgu has the utmost confidence in his side's ability to cause an upset when they meet Ahli in Cairo in the Champions League semi final.

Five-time African champions Ahli held the Nigerians to a goalless draw in the first-leg that took place in Aba.

Ahli are seen as favorites to reach the competition's final for the fourth successive season.

However, Worgu, who is heavily linked with a move to Ahli in January, believes Enyimba will eliminate his suitors.

"I know we won't lose to them in Egypt," the 19-year-old told Kick off Nigeria.

"A 0-0 result is not bad for us; we knew what we were doing."

Worgu, who tops the Champions League scorer charts with 13 goals, doesn't let Ahli's interest in acquiring his services distract him from focusing on the anticipated clash.

"My chairman told me they are discussing with Ahli, but that is not my business for now."

"All I want to do is make sure that we go to Egypt and qualify for the Final."
