The Malian believes Atletico will be fired up to make amends for their humiliating 6-1 defeat to Barcelona when they meet Real at Vicente Calderon later this month.

"I am sure it will be an incredible game," he told Spanish daily AS.

"I have played three matches against them, one ending in victory and the other two in draws.

"They will come out firing after the debacle against Barcelona, but we'll enter the Calderón in search of a win. We both have a lot at stake. It will be a great match."

The 27-year-old, who has been one of Real's most consistent performers this season, believes Los Merengues are well equipped to win a third successive Primera Liga title.

"I know it will be tough, but the team looks good and I think we can win another. I have a great feeling."
