John Terry has been ruled out of England's qualifier against Belarus on October 15th after being proven medically unfit, declared the FA official website.

The Chelsea defender missed the three lions' 5-1 thrashing of Kazakhstan with a back injury, which he has sustained during the Blues' encounter against CFR Cluj in the Champions League.

Terry's participation in the upcoming match against Belarus was contingent upon his outcome in Monday's training session, but according to the medical staff he needs more time to recuperate.

The Veteran is known for his incredible stamina and endurance, therefore he was expected to be ready before Belarus clash.

Ashley Cole has been also sidelined with a right hamstring strain, which was picked up during Kazakhstan game.

Hungry Rooney

In the same manner, Wayne Rooney wants to improve his goal scoring tally with England.

"It's always been the case that my goals come all at once, then a little break and then they come again," Rooney said in the Daily Mirror.

"I would like to do it a bit more consistently and keep scoring all the time."

Unfazed Belarus!

In spite of Rooney's fiery statements, Belarus assured they are not intimidated by the Manchester United Hitman ahead of Wednesday's showdown.

Rooney scored twice against Kazakhstan on Sunday. However, Belarus striker Vitaly Bulyga undermined the striker's impact.

"We are not scared of Rooney. He is not unbeatable and as a human being he has weaknesses. We will use that," Bulyga said in The Sun.

"We are confident of beating England," he added.

It's worth noting Belarus superstar Alexander Hleb will miss the game due to a long-standing ankle injury.
