Egyptian full back Omar Rabie Yassine has left Belgian second division side SK Lierse after the two parties agreed mutual consent.

The former Ahli youngster decided to end his Belgian adventure after failing to win a regular spot with FC Turnhout where he was loaned out by Lierse.

"I only agreed to join Turnhout after being promised a first team place, but I only played very few games in the season so far," Yassine told FilGoal.com.

"I informed the club president with my desire to leave, and thankfully he was very considering."

Yassine added that he'll be seeking the opportunity to join another European club comes January, refusing to rule out a return to Egypt if he receives a good offer.

It's worth noting that both Turnhout and Lierse are owned by Egyptian businessman Maged Sami.
