Zamalek are poised to regain top spot in the Egyptian league when they host minnows Olympic on Sunday.

The Whites suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to strugglers Gaish last week, but were much helped by leaders Petrojet's stumble against rock bottom Police Union.

A win for Zamalek would see them going top on 19 points, as arch rivals Ahli lie in mid-table with four postponed matches.

Zamalek will miss skipper Ayman Abdul-Aziz and defender Wissem El-Abdi through injury, whilst Amr Al-Safti is suspended. But striker Abdul-Halim Ali returns after injury.

On the opposing side, newcomers Olympic are hoping to get off the relegation zone with an unlikely victory in Cairo.

The Alexandria giants miss top marksman Mahmoud Al-Atar 'Jackson' due to injury.
